Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms On The Way, Thursday Thru Saturday.

Good evening! The unsettled pattern we have been in, continues for the next several days. Waves of showers and thunderstorms will move thru the region over the next several days. Locally heavy rainfall and lightning will be the overall concern. Isolated strong storms cannot be ruled out. Widespread severe weather is not expected at this time.

Shower and storm chances will be on the increase, as we head into the overnight hours. Locally heavy rainfall is possible.

The WPC (Weather Prediction Center) has the entire coverage area in slight risk for flash flooding. As much as 3+ inches of rain will be possible across the region.

Slight Risk for flash flooding Thursday and Friday.

At this time, any severe threat looks to stay to the south, along the Kentucky/Tennessee line.
