Updated: Nov 17, 2019

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday afternoon! Skies are fair to overcast across the Evansville Metro/Tri-State and lower Ohio Valley, with temperatures in the upper 30's to lower 40's .

Our slow warming trend will continue thru Wednesday and Thursday, as our highs will climb above normal levels for this time of year, just ahead of our next weather maker. We can expect highs to reach the upper 50's to lower 60's on Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday's high temperatures around 60 across the lower Ohio Valley.

High temperatures around 60 to lower 60's on Thursday.

Rain chances move into the region late Wednesday night and Thursday . Rain ending late Thursday evening into early Friday, according to the GFS.

The 00z run of the European model (ECMWF) showed a totally different scenario, with a second system moving in on Sunday, with mixed precipitation moving across parts of the region.

The latest (updated) run 12z of the ECMWF has backed off of the mixed precip possibilities here in the Evansville Metro and Tri-State region of our coverage are and is coming in a bit warmer, with rain. We'll follow the trends on this over the next several days.

Taking a sneak peak at what Thanksgiving may hold. As I mentioned in prior updates, an active pattern is setting up for Thanksgiving week, as a strong area of low pressure affects the region. It still looks colder than normal and a trend we will definitely have to watch.

We'll have more updates over the next several days. Have a great Sunday evening!
